We are excited to announce an upcoming mediation program developed in collaboration with Liste Art Fair. During art fairs, everyone is searching for something: the next event, the next encounter, the next deal, the next party, or the newest edition of fair merch. Looking for? invites visitors, in the midst of this rush, to slow down and consider questions of inequality, labor, economic extraction, and identity that are often rendered invisible. Building upon the themes of our first publication, This Is Not A Guidebook, we have created a site-specific edition for Liste.
Through a critical yet playful lens, Looking for? takes the form of a leaflet that guides you, scavenger hunt style, through the fair against the grain. Through a series of questions, visitors are invited to unpack the hidden mechanisms of power, hierarchy, and access operating behind the spectacle of the art market.
There are three ways to participate:
Visit the Liste infodesk for a copy of the leaflet and free entry. (P.S. Entry is also free from 19:00 onward.) You can then follow the leaflet independently through the fair. Liste is open to the public from June 15 to 21. More information, including opening hours, can be found here: Liste visitor information
Or join us for a special guided tour during the fair, taking place on Saturday, June 20, from 4 to 5 pm. The tour will be held in English and German, with additional languages possible upon request. Registration for the tour grants access to the fair for the duration of the tour. The meeting point is in the foyer at the VIP Desk. More information and registration: Tour registration
Or simply use the digital version below. Note that the digital version does not grant free entry.
